Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council head demands withdrawal of all Emirati forces within 24 hours

The head of Yemen’s Saudi-backed Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, Rashad Al-Alimi, said on Tuesday that all Emirati forces and their affiliates must withdraw from Yemeni territory within 24 hours.

The statement followed a limited airstrike carried out by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, targeting what the coalition described as “foreign military support” for Emirati-backed southern forces at the port of Mukalla.
