Rapid Support Forces strike intelligence headquarters in Kadugli, killing four civilians

The Rapid Support Forces carried out a drone attack on the headquarters of Sudan’s General Intelligence Service in Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan state, in southern Sudan.

A military source said the strike caused “limited damage” to the intelligence facility. However, media reports indicated civilian casualties, after a civilian vehicle near the site was hit, killing at least four people.

The incident comes amid ongoing fighting between the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese army, as insecurity continues to worsen across several parts of the country.
