U.S. President Donald Trump and international mediators have announced an agreement paving the way to end the war in Gaza. According to Hamas, the deal’s terms include ending the fighting, the withdrawal of Israeli forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and a prisoner exchange.
The announcement came after intensive talks in Sharm El-Sheikh. Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson confirmed that the first phase of the ceasefire implementation had been agreed upon, marking a key step toward halting hostilities and completing the detainee exchange.
Israel’s Army Radio reported that combat units in Gaza had been ordered to prepare for redeployment, signaling the start of practical arrangements to enforce the agreement.
Despite this positive development, field tensions remain high, as Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza City and Khan Younis early this morning, while clashes and military operations continued across the West Bank.
