At least 60 civilians were killed in an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on a displacement shelter in the city of El-Fasher, Darfur.
According to the El-Fasher Resistance Committees Coordination, the Dar Al-Arqam center was hit twice by drones and eight times by artillery shells, killing children, women, and the elderly, with many bodies still trapped under the rubble.
The RSF denied responsibility for the civilian deaths, describing the reports as “completely false.”
El-Fasher, which remains under siege by the RSF, is witnessing a sharp humanitarian deterioration, as continued attacks target shelters, hospitals, and mosques—fueling hunger and disease across the city.
