Mauritania Launches First International Seafood Expo in Nouadhibou

Mauritania has inaugurated its first International Seafood Expo in the coastal city of Nouadhibou.

The event, overseen by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Infrastructure, Sidi Ali Sidi Boubacar, aims to boost the fishing industry and promote Mauritanian seafood products locally and abroad.

The expo serves as a platform to showcase national products, share expertise, and expand into new markets, with participation from leading fishing companies, financial institutions, and maritime sector stakeholders.
