Airstrike Kills Dozens Near Market in Western Niger

An airstrike hit the town of Ingara in Niger’s Tillabéri region, leaving at least 30 people dead, according to multiple sources. An eyewitness reported the death toll had risen to 37.

A medical source said the bomb struck the outskirts of the weekly market, with shrapnel injuring people nearby.

The government has not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
