Israeli Army Strikes Yemen’s Hodeidah Port

The Israeli army announced on Monday that it had carried out airstrikes targeting facilities in Yemen’s western port of Hodeidah, claiming the attacks aimed to prevent the reconstruction of Houthi infrastructure.

According to an Israeli military statement, the strikes hit fuel tanks, engineering equipment, vessels, and boats.

Israeli Defense Minister Yuval Katz stated that his country is “acting forcefully to prevent the rehabilitation of Houthi infrastructure,” warning that “Yemen’s fate will be like Iran’s.”

Military sources reported that the attacks were carried out using drones.

Meanwhile, Houthi-affiliated media confirmed airstrikes on the port of Hodeidah but did not report any casualties or material damage.
