Iran Fires Dozens of Missiles at U.S. Bases in Qatar and Iraq in Response to American Strikes

Iran launched several missiles on Monday evening targeting U.S. military bases in Qatar and Iraq, in retaliation for recent American strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Iranian state television reported that the military operation began with the bombing of Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which hosts a significant U.S. military presence.

In an official statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps described the missile attack as “powerful and destructive,” stressing that Iran “will not leave any violation of its sovereignty or national security unanswered.”

American officials said the U.S. is tracking the trajectory of the Iranian missiles launched toward its military installations in both Qatar and Iraq.

This military escalation comes just days after the United States conducted airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites, amid rising tensions between the two nations.

No details have yet been released regarding casualties or damage from the latest Iranian missile attack.
