Nigerian Troops kill Notorious Bandit leader, others

The troops of Nigerian Army conducting clearance operations in north west Zamfara State have neutralized a notorious bandit, Shehu Kwale, a close associate of the infamous terror kingpin Dan Ishu.

The operation took place near Mararrabar Kyaware.

Intelligence sources told said that the operation took place on March 10 when the troops came in contact with the terrorists, killing several of them.

Impeccable sources confirmed that Shehu Kwale, who was among the most ruthless fighters in Dan Ishu’s camp, was among the terrorists that was suyanised.

Investigations reveal that Shehu Kwale was the biological son of a woman known as Hajiya Dudu Mainono, a resident of Tsafe Local Government Area.

His mother once lamented her son’s deep involvement in banditry, particularly after he allegedly presented human heads to his leader, Dan Ishu, as proof of his deadly exploits.

Top Military authorities say the successful operation marks another breakthrough in ongoing efforts to rid Zamfara and neighboring states of violent criminal elements.

Meanwhile security forces have reiterated their commitment to sustaining operations to ensure peace and stability in the North-West region.
