Palestinian medical sources confirmed on Tuesday that six civilians were killed and several others wounded in separate Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, despite the ongoing ceasefire agreement.
Five people were killed by an Israeli drone strike as they were inspecting their homes in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza. A sixth person was killed, and others injured, in a similar attack east of Khan Younis.
In a statement, the Israeli army claimed it targeted “suspects” who allegedly attempted to cross what it calls the “yellow line” inside the enclave.
Hamas condemned the attacks as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire, urging the guarantor parties to hold Israel accountable and prevent it from evading its obligations.
