Azawad army clashes Mali-Wagner forces

The Azawadian National Army has announced they have battle and clashed the combined Malian army and the Wagner militia in the northern Mali.

The military clash which was about 25km away from the west of Kidal.

In a statement issued by the Azawad militia, it described the Malian army as terrorist group and an enemy.

“The ‘enemy’ retreated with considerable losses. Details will follow”, the statement read.

In our earlier report, this news agency noted that, the violent military clash ensued two days ago on Friday November 10th, 2023 at about 14:00 GMT.

This fight comes after United Nations Peacekeeping troops left the northern part of the country, Kidal, few days ago.
